Table for Tu

Our Mission

At Table for Tu, we believe the most memorable events are the ones that feel personal, unexpected and impossible to replicate.

We create elevated dining and event experiences for those who want something beyond the ordinary. From intimate private dinners and bespoke celebrations to high-end corporate events and fundraising experiences.

Every detail is thoughtfully considered. Every element has a purpose. And every experience is designed around the people at the table.

Our Approach

Listen.

We get to know you, your audience, your objectives and your vision.

Imagine.

We develop a distinctive concept that brings your vision to life, with a few ideas you probably didn't see coming.

Curate.

We thoughtfully select the culinary, creative and experiential elements that make the event exceptional.

Execute.

We manage the details, the partners and the experience so you can be fully present in the moment.

Leave an Impression.

Because when the last plate is cleared and the lights go down, the goal isn't just that your guests had a great time. It's that they're still talking about it tomorrow.

We bring together the right mix of food, design, entertainment, storytelling, service and unexpected details to create something that feels considered from beginning to end. We work with exceptional culinary talent, creative partners and specialty vendors to build experiences that are as unique as the people hosting them.

Whether it’s an intimate dinner for 12, a corporate gathering for 50 or a fundraising event designed to make an impact, we believe smaller, more intentional experiences can leave a much bigger impression.

Your Team

Leane Funk

Born and raised in southern Manitoba, Leane has always been driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to experience more. After moving to Toronto at 18 to study Creative Communications, she began her career in advertising before discovering that her true passion lay in creating experiences rather than sitting behind a desk.

What started as a short stint in hospitality quickly became a 20-year journey, shaped by her love of food, design, and attention to detail. In 2013, she founded the Winnipeg Supper Club, bringing intimate groups together for unforgettable Sunday dinners in unexpected settings and showcasing some of Winnipeg’s best culinary talent.

That passion for creating memorable experiences led Leane into the events industry, including a role with a high-end caterer in Calgary, where she further developed her eye for aesthetics, hospitality, and the thoughtful details that elevate an event.

Today, Leane is deeply connected to Winnipeg’s culinary and events communities. She owns a restaurant and her own craft beer line, has helped raise more than $3 million for local charities, and continues to bring her signature blend of creativity, hospitality, and culinary expertise to the events she creates. For Leane, the best events aren’t simply attended—they’re experienced, remembered, and talked about long after the last guest leaves.

Fabrizio Rossi

Chef Rossi’s career includes time at the renowned Hotel Habitart and the iconic Casina Valadier, where he worked under Chef Massimo D’Innocente. In Canada since 2009 continued his career at Nicolinos italian restaurant,  DeLuca  and Fort Garry hotel as executive chef. His culinary inspiration is deeply personal, sparked by his mother’s cooking. “I wanted to learn how she did everything so that I could continue her traditions in the kitchen,” he says.
